We all deserve to be happy and fulfilled, but life can sometimes throw curveballs causing an imbalance.

My aim here at Heal Yourself Haven, is to help you to help yourself, so that you can restore balance and rediscover joy and enthusiasm for life.

We all have it within us to live a happy, satisfying and joyful life. It's about clearing the clutter of what you no longer need and replacing those outdated, unnecessary feelings, emotions and habits with that which makes you feel alive and excited.

I offer client focussed hypnotherapy, Inner Child Therapy, Regression Therapy,Hypno -EMDR and use various tools such as CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) NLP, (Neurolinguistic Programming, TFT (Thought Field Therapy) to help with many issues from dealing with past trauma, stopping smoking to phobias, insomnia and anxiety.

  • What happens when you come for hypnotherapy with me.
    It can feel daunting to seek help and if you have no experience of hypnotherapy or know what to expect, even more so. Firstly congratulations for making that first step - it shows you are ready to make a change and I am here to help. I wanted to give you an outline from the moment you get in touch to when you come for your first session. I run a small practice from my purpose built garden therapy room in Eythorne, close to Dover, Sandwich and Deal. As soon as I get an enquiry via my website or via WhatsApp, I respond as quickly as I can. I know how hard it is to take that first step so want you to know I am here to listen and help. I usually arrange a free telephone consultation to establish a connection, find out more about what it is you need help with and to answer any questions you might have. If you are happy to make an initial appointment we agree a date and time and I book you in. I send you various messages with information on my location, parking, an information sheet on hypnosis and a form to complete and return with your medical history. The first session we have is 90 minutes. It is an information gathering session so that I can create a bespoke treatment plan for you. We discuss and agree a way forward. I use a variety of tools and methods to suit each client. And during this first session I like to give you some tools that you can use immediately to help get started. I will explain hypnosis, how it works and what to expect. I will always end the session with some therapeutic hypnosis and we will discuss your experience afterwards. The number of sessions you have is up to you but I recommend starting with a block of 3 and then we can reassess. My aim is to help you to help yourself and give you tools you can use as and when you need them. I also provide mp3 recordings of any sessions so feel worked well.
  • How will I feel when I am hypnotised?
    All hypnosis is self hypnosis so you are always in control and able to bring yourself up and back to full awareness. I take time to relax you to start with and you will be able to hear what I am saying unless you drift off but then whatever I am saying will still go directly into your subconscious. A hypnosis treatment can take 20 - 30 minutes and almost all my clients come out of the session feeling lighter and uplifted.
  • What to expect after a session?
    You may find that you might experience a shift after a session as emotions can be released. I am happy for clients to message me between sessions if they have any concerns.
  • What is an abreaction?
    An abreaction is a release of emotions that can occur during hypnosis or afterwards and can be in the form of laughter, crying, babbling.
  • Payment options
    I ask that payment for the first session is made 24 hours before the session unless otherwise agreed.
  • Arriving on time
    I encourage you to arrive on time so that you get the full session time - if for any reason you are going to be late and can let me know, if I can accommodate, I will.
  • Cancellation or rescheduling
    If you need to cancel or re-arrange a session please give me 24 hours notice if possible.
